Why can't I pay for my books online and reserve them at the store for pick up?
Due to space limitations, we are not able to reserve textbooks or place textbooks on hold.

Why did I receive a "new" textbook when I specified "used" textbooks?
Unfortunately, used textbooks are not available in every title. If a used book is not available for a particular class a new book will be substituted.

How do I purchase Microsoft Office?
RCTC is participating in the Microsoft Campus Agreement that allows students to have access to Microsoft software without paying full retail price.  The RCTC Bookstore sells Microsoft Office Pro 2007 and Office Mac Pro 2008 to current RCTC students. The software includes Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Powerpoint. Students, first stop at the Technology Support Center located in Goddard Library, GL 100. At the Technology Support Center, you will need to show your current RCTC student ID and sign a copyright agreement. You will then be given a coupon, bring the coupon to the Bookstore to purchase the software.

Online and distance learning students, please print the Student Microsoft Campus Agreement form. Fill out the requested information, sign it and fax it back to the Technology Support Center at 507-285-7312.  After reviewing the information, a member of the Technology Support Center will then contact the Bookstore and the student by email.
