How do I place an online order?

Follow these step by step instructions to help place your online textbook order. For more information on how to order click on the How to order textbooks online link under the textbooks tab.

How do I pay for my books online and reserve them at the store for pick up?
On the checkout page, for the shipping method check "pick up at Bookstore."  Please bring your student ID and the order confirmation along with you when picking them up.

Can I purchase my books in person?

Online orders are the preferred method for buying textbooks. The bookstore is offering free shipping for all online orders for Summer Semester.  Ordering online will save you time and help us limit traffic on campus. However, if this does not work for you, starting May 3rd we will be providing In-Store service to students purchasing textbooks. (May 17th – June 4th if you are charging to financial aid or a 3rd party i.e. workforce or VA.)  We will ask you to provide us with a book list from our website so we can pick the books for you. Please have your Student ID card.

Here is a link to information on getting a Student ID card.

Here is a link to create your book list before coming to make the process move quicker.

Why did I receive a "new" textbook when I specified "used" textbooks?
Unfortunately, used textbooks are not available in every title. If a used book is not available for a particular class a new book will be substituted and vice versa. The dollar amount of your order will change if substitutions are made. All prices are subject to change without notice. Please note: while both used and new prices may be listed, this does not guarantee the availability of textbooks in these conditions.

How do I purchase Microsoft Office?
RCTC has Office 365 which allows students to use Office on their personal devices.  To obtain Microsoft Software,  log into your RCTC Student email account if you are a current student, or your RCTC Staff/Faculty email login, then click Office 365 near the upper left hand corner, then click Install now.
